WISE Panel Discussion

On November 18th, WISE collaborated with HELP for Domestic Workers for an enlightening panel discussion on mental and physical resilience in preparation for the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon.

Despite not all attendees being marathon participants, each left with valuable insights from the event.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our inspiring guest speakers - Claire Burley, Ruby Cheng, Rachel Li, and Idawati Misno. They shared personal journeys showcasing the profound impact of sports and running in their lives. From bonding with pets to enhancing mental health, embracing challenges, and setting goals, sports have become integral to their identities.

Through sports participation, they've learned to reframe their thinking in tough situations and adapt to the unexpected. While goal-setting is important, they stressed the significance of flexibility and self-compassion, encouraging all to celebrate even the smallest victories.

A special thank you to The Executive Centre for providing a vibrant venue for this event.

Stay tuned for upcoming events!
